Neos Code Sprint in Vienna
sitegeist in beautiful Vienna! From November 13 - 17, 2017, a Neos Sprint was held in Vienna. We were there with four of our five Neos Core Team members.
Greetings from Vienna. Four sitegeisters and many familiar faces gathered at Wohnprojekt Wien — a community association for sustainable living, where people of all ages and cultures live, work, and share their lives together. Naturally, our Neos community fit in perfectly.
We sitegeisters shared a large apartment – or, as I fondly call it, our sitegeist WG (shared flat). Even outside of sprint sessions, we could grab a coffee together or reflect on the day in a cozy setting.
The sprint was a fantastic experience. Even as a non-techie, there were plenty of exciting topics I could contribute to — such as the Neos project retrospective, where we discussed things like diversity and Neos values.
It was also a joy to reconnect with familiar faces from the Neos community — some of whom even brought their families along!
While my dear colleagues stayed for the rest of the week, I returned to Hamburg after two successful days — full of inspiration and fresh motivation for upcoming projects.
I'm already looking forward to continuing the work with the Neos community and to the next sprint I get to join.
