Our commitment to the Neos community
We are proud to be one of the most dedicated contributors to the Neos ecosystem.
From the early 2010s, when Neos branched out from TYPO3, we were already part of the core team. When Neos became an independent open-source platform in 2015, we actively supported the transition.
Whether as sponsors, organizers, or hosts, we’ve helped shape Neos events:
- MEET Neos
- Neos Business Conference (now held in cities across the globe)
- The first-ever Neos Barcamp
- The very first Neos Meetup
- Neos Conference – the official successor of the Inspiring Conference
We also regularly host code sprints at our Hamburg office, providing the perfect collaborative space for the Neos developer community.

Development of 50+ extension packages & plugins
We are particularly happy to solve recurring challenges as installable add-on packages for Neos. This way, all our customers can quickly benefit from our learnings. If the functionality is not only interesting for our customers, we are also happy to publish such packages directly for the entire Neos community as open source.
In total, we have now created over 50 packages, of which the following are widely used in the Neos community:
- sitegeist.monocle - a living styleguide for Neos
- sitegeist.kaleidoscope - responsive image handling
- sitegeist.lostintranslation - DeepL integration
- sitegeist.taxonomy - hierarchical categorization of content
- sitegeist.papertiger - editable forms and actions
- sitegeist.magicwand - fast data migration from server to local environment
- sitegeist.inspectorgadget - editable ValueObjects in the inspector

Core development
Two of our developers are active members of the Neos Core Team, contributing directly to ongoing platform development and attending every major sprint and conference.
This commitment is a lot of fun and not only promotes the further development of Neos, but also enables us to stay in close contact with the Neos core team and learn about the latest developments.
Among other things, our core developers have been significantly involved in the following developments to date:
- New React UI for Neos
- Fusion components and AFX for the efficient creation of Frontend components with Neos
- Atomic Fusion and the separation of presentation and integration
- Fusion.Forms
- Event Sourced Content Repository
- NodeType Property Presets
- Editorial 404 Pages
- RawContent Mode
Our core developers have already acted as release managers for the following Neos releases and coordinated the development of the respective version:
- Neos 3.3 / Flow 4.3
- Neos 4.3 / Flow 5.3
- Neos 8.0 / Flow 8.0
- Neos 9.0 / Flow 9.0
Host Neos-sprints
The Neos team meets several times a year for Neos sprints, to which anyone who would like to contribute to Neos is invited in addition to the team members.
The sprints usually last a week and include discussions, coordination and planning in addition to work on the code . Our flexible conference rooms offer the Neos team an ideal environment for this and many Neos team members now know our agency almost as well as our colleagues.

The community around Neos is simply amazing!
