Bladdercare.com is a specialized platform that focuses on information and resources related to bladder cancer treatment.
The website is aimed at both patients and healthcare professionals (HCPs) and offers extensive content ranging from education to in-depth specialist information. In order to meet the requirements of a modern, professional and target group-oriented online presence, we carried out a comprehensive relaunch of Bladdercare's website in 2023.
Bladdercare's new design and concept were developed by a specialist corporate agency, which redefined the visual and content direction of the brand. The focus was on a clear, trustworthy and user-friendly design that appeals to both patients and professionals.
The design reflects the seriousness and expertise of the platform and offers intuitive navigation that allows users to quickly find the information they need. The topic of water is omnipresent.
TYPO3 at Its Best
Our primary task was the technical implementation of the new website using TYPO3. This content management system provides the flexibility and stability required to handle the complex needs of the Bladdercare platform.
TYPO3 enables efficient content management while ensuring high performance and security—critical factors in the medical sector.

A standout feature of the new Bladdercare site is the dedicated HCP area, offering in-depth medical information and professional resources.
This section is password-protected, with access restricted to verified medical professionals. It was designed specifically to meet the needs of HCPs and provide valuable support in clinical practice.
One of the technically demanding aspects was the management of custom bubble-shaped image styles that move asynchronously on scroll—all fully editable via the TYPO3 backend. Working closely with frontend and backend teams, we developed a sophisticated solution that allows all these visual elements to move and align dynamically, including on mobile devices.
