The Pelikan Group is one of the leading international brand suppliers of quality paper, office supplies and stationery products. The product range comprises more than 12,000 items, from pencil sharpeners and napkins to school bags and high-quality writing instruments.
With the Pelikan Passion and the Fine Writing Instruments, Pelikan wants to reach the hearts of its customers and inspire them with the outstanding Pelikan quality, for which the label "Made in Germany" stands. Anyone who knows quality appreciates the Pelikan brand. For decades, the company has been researching new, beautiful and breathtaking materials with great attention to detail in order to produce the right, high-quality writing instrument for its customers.
The Project
The new Pelikan Passion Shop was created as part of the long-standing collaboration with Pelikan. The focus of this project was on using the existing store infrastructure. In many places, we relied on existing features or expanded them in such a way that the requirements of the demanding target group are reflected and the high-quality products are presented in the best possible light. Another goal was to create an optimal shopping experience that does justice to the quality of the products. We therefore adapted the design on the basis of the existing technical specifications. The store now shows off the products in all their glory.
Project Execution
In close cooperation with our contacts at Pelikan from marketing and IT, we realized the technical implementation of the new store based on Shopware in record time. As in previous projects, the extension of the existing interface to SAP was successfully implemented in cooperation with Pelikan IT and offers a smooth process for order processing and fulfillment at Pelikan.
In just a few weeks, it was possible to implement the technical requirements in such a way that Pelikan was able to start implementing the shopping worlds.
