Neos Conference 2018
On 13 and 14 April, the second official Neos Conference took place, which we organized. In a new location, on the panorama deck of the Emporio Tower, the Neos community met above the rooftops of Hamburg. for 2 days, there were exciting, very high-quality talks on topics related to the Neos world and beyond.
Four sitegeist speakers gave presentations on the first day of the Neos Conference 2018: Sven presented "Do the RE.A.L. Thing: No waste projects" RE.A.L. and Miriam and Martin presented their new bridge in "Building Content-driven Shopping Experiences with Neos & Shopware".
Max reported together with Dimitriv Pisarev on "Neos UI Extensibility and Beyond "For all those who could not attend the event, there was again the livestream broadcast - here again a big thank you goes out to the Neos agency Sandstorm, who once again had the technology under excellent control.
At the end of the first day, the Neos Award was presented in 6 categories. sitegeist won the coveted trophy twice: the Bronze Award for the Canusa Touristik project and the Excellence Award for the development of sitegeist Monocle.
This was celebrated extensively at the subsequent social event in the Nochtwache. Thanks to sponsorship from onedrop and gesag.getan. and the best music from DJ Manu, it was a long, wet and cheerful night - many thanks to everyone involved!
On the second day, there was another exciting program, including the popular Lightning Talks and an expert panel. Once again, three sitegeistspeakers filled the stages: Gina with the talk "Leadersheep", Martin with "Tasty Atomic Fusion recipes for your website" and Wilhelm was part of the expert panel.
This day also ran smoothly and the atmosphere was great throughout. The day ended with the award ceremony for the best talk - congratulations Max - and a vote of thanks to all the sponsors and helpers. Everyone involved did a great job and our Lisa once again put on a fantastic, high-quality event. Thank you for your efforts - whether you took photos or videos, packed bags, were sponsors, provided us with music or had everyone else's back - it was great cinema and would not have been possible without you.
