E-Commerce
In our unit, we work with you to implement exciting projects for our diverse customers. These include a wide range of projects from various industries, from stores for medium-sized companies to complex e-commerce solutions for global players - all based on Shopware. Curious?

Agile and human
Great colleagues work in our e-commerce unit. Our unit currently has 9 experts from the fields of Frontend and Backend development, concept & graphics and project management.
It is important to all of us that it is not just the pay that counts, but that we achieve goals together with a lot of joy and energy. We don't miss out on fun: whether it's in the morning stand-up meeting, in pair programming or in interdisciplinary collaboration, agile and together. At sitegeist, all of this is always done with plenty of scope for creativity - personally, for everyone!
In our agile work, we rely on Kanban with the aim of continuously improving our processes so that we can focus on the essentials - the solutions for our customers.
We maintain an open approach within the team and also with our customers. We question things. We do not accept "Please just do it!". We want to know why we are doing things and what the customer's larger goal is. We believe that we can only achieve outstanding results by working together as equals and with mutual respect.
As you can see, we are optimally positioned. As a team, we realize innovative tasks with the best results for the customer and also for us.

Whether it's about availability, project decisions or error culture: at sitegeist, agile cooperation is not just preached, but practiced every day. We can solve everything as a team, together.
Your place in the team
Would you like to work as a developer, project manager or in conception and design? We have summarized the different areas of responsibility at sitegeist for you here.
None of the areas suit you exactly, but you can enrich and advance us as a team? Then let's find your place in the team together!
Project management and consulting
Carers who keep everything together
The project manager (m/f/d) takes on the role of the caretaker, who is the main contact person for the customer and the team. He is also the person who makes sure that everyone can do their work and keeps an eye on the budget and time frame. Project management at sitegeist works agilely and efficiently according to our process model RE.A.L.
The project management team works closely with the technical lead and other developers, concept designers and graphic designers as well as other trades within the company and brings the right people together to implement projects efficiently and to a high standard. The tasks also include consulting, customer development and quality assurance together with IT.
Conception and design
Tailor-made for our customers
Design thinking is practiced by our UX/user experience and UI/user interface designers (m/f/d). The designers work hand in hand with the customer, project management and IT to develop the user guidance and look of a product idea.
In the user experience, all thoughts, feelings and reactions when using a product, website or app are thought through in advance. Important components of the UX "toolbox" include methods such as wireframing, user stories and prototyping.
The user interface describes the look and feel of the product. The right color, the right font, adequate spacing bring the previously conceived to life while adhering to psychological design rules. It is not uncommon for entire design systems and guidelines to be created that describe all aspects of the product.
Technical conception & development
Rock-solid and state-of-the-art
Our developers (m/f/d) implement project-specific requirements based on Shopware 6. Tasks such as the connection of a merchandise management system or a product information management system (PIM) are just as much a part of our tasks as the implementation of customized user interfaces and the development of individual extensions.
It is important to us that the developers (m/f/d) are on board right from the start and define solutions together with all project participants. We work in an agile way and define priorities together. Within our development process, we rely on code reviews and the roll-out of functions across 3 instances of development, staging and production.
We are committed to standardized coding styles and prefer to leave deployments to automated processes in the Gitlab CI/CD pipeline. Pair programming and regular meetings between colleagues to exchange knowledge are also firmly anchored in our day-to-day business.
